What I liked

Destiny is a talented poet/lyricist. I appreciated the rhythmic rhyming structure of her monologues. The needle drops were on point as well. Her energy and confidence in the material was evident, even during the show’s themes of wrestling with ideas about quitting, apathy, and feeling empty and nihilistic about the unknown future.

What I didn't like

Maybe turn down the “bing” sound effect that happens during her back-and-forth with an online hater every time the hater posts back. Could be I was in a bad seat for it, but it was hurting my ears.

My overall impression

This was an engaging and well crafted show. It was funny and vulnerable, handling weighty topics with humor without feeling glib about the subject matter.
