What I liked
I liked the use of the props and the bipolar video elements were super funny! Maria is a talented performer and I would watch her in anything, really.
What I didn't like
The only thing for me was the fact that sometimes I wish the text were on the screen a hair longer. I probably was just reading too slowly though haha also, I know that there is a strict time constraint!
My overall impression
Maria is very compelling! From the second the show started, I knew that I was in good hands. She took command of the stage and had both comedic and dramatic moments that were impressive. It took a ton of strength and vulnerability to share her story, but she did it unflinchingly! Some of the stories were iconic (like the state senator one lol) and there was an uplifting and inspirational message. Definitely glad I got to see this one!
