What I liked

Puppydog is an incredibly heartfelt and imaginative piece of theater. Emilie Langjahr gives such a joyful, committed performance that you completely believe you’re watching a lovable dog experiencing the world with endless curiosity, loyalty, and hope. She beautifully captures the unconditional love dogs have for the people they cherish, making even the smallest moments feel meaningful. Ann Noble’s direction keeps the storytelling playful while allowing the emotional moments to land naturally. It’s creative, charming, and especially moving for anyone who’s ever loved a dog.

My overall impression

I walked away from Puppydog with a full heart. It’s a touching reminder of the simple, selfless love animals give us and how easy it can be to overlook just how much they mean to our lives. Emilie creates such an endearing character that you can’t help but root for her from beginning to end. It’s a beautiful, compassionate show that balances humor, imagination, and emotion with grace. If you’re a dog lover—or simply someone who enjoys theater with heart—this is absolutely a show worth seeing.
