What I liked

First and foremost, Langjahr’s performance was brilliant. The shifting perspective and embodiment of various characters and their relationship to Laika was fascinating. And without spoiling anything… the set-up and payoff in the lead up to the ending was tremendous. A great way to spend an afternoon at Fringe.

Emilie Langjahr is stunning, embodying a broad range of diverse characters with an intense precision and brilliant physicality. A profound portrait of the wondrous and terrible things humans are capable. Never would have thought I’d be shedding tears for a dog a now-defunct country shot into space almost seventy years ago, but here we are…
