Emilie is so lovable in this, which brings her heartbreaking story of callous behavior in the name of science to unexpected depths. The jokes landed. The direction was flawless (which I’ve come to expect from Ann Noble). The bread crumbs leading you to that final scene perfectly placed.
What I didn't like
I usually find the fault in everything. It’s a coping mechanism for me but I couldn’t, for the life of me… it was great
My overall impression
Unexpected brilliance. I loved this show. Simple. Nuanced. Layered. The premise sounded ridiculous. The payoff: profound.
