Dara Kosberg is a top-of-the-line performer, and exactly who you want helming a solo show. She’s immediately endearing, effortlessly funny, and refreshingly grounded. I loved her musical interjections, and adored the clips of her grandmother’s voicemails. Her delivery is so vulnerable and honest.
What I didn't like
Kosberg told me after the show that she was feeling a little off in the performance I saw. Honestly, I didn’t clock that, but now I’m even more excited to see more from Kosberg!
My overall impression
Like all the best tales of grief, Homecoming has quite a bit of humor sprinkled through. What a gift to be guided through this story by a charming storyteller with experience working with grieving people.
