What I liked
I loved the details she shared – like the description of the talking stick wand which exactly matched the glitter wand I had as a kid. I connected deeply with the time and place she crafted and the difficult mother line relationships. I loved the voicemail recordings – they were a perfect storytelling element.
What I didn't like
I kinda wish I could see Dara’s mother. Maybe some family photos would amplify the storytelling.
My overall impression
Dara is a beautiful storyteller whose soul shines through her performance like a beacon.
