The writing was superb… densely packed, a whirlwind to experience, but somehow cohesive and heart-expanding by the end.
What I didn't like
I wish you had a little more time in the show. I can’t think of anything I’d cut, but it would be even more powerful if you had the space to pause and let some of the jokes and some of the saddest moments land for a few moments before moving on to the next part.
My overall impression
Absolutely phenomenal! Homecoming took me on a rollercoaster of tears and laughter, weaving together vignettes across different times and characters into something both deeply moving and laugh-out-loud funny. It’s remarkably layered, balancing humor and vulnerability while illuminating deep truths about the human experience. This is the kind of show that lingers for days afterward—you find yourself revisiting powerful moments and discovering new connections and resonances each time you think about it.
