What I liked
It makes me want to go on a healing retreat – loved how Dara integrated audio and utilized characterization to tell the story, I was hooked, engaged, laughing, and crying all at different times – bravo! Plus her energy is so generous. And I will say one more time I wish I could have met her Grandmother…icon.
What I didn't like
No notes, other than keep sharing this piece – it is such an honest look at grief and resilience.
My overall impression
Homecoming is a great show. Dara is so engaging and has written a deeply funny, considerate, and beautiful show that hits on so many nuanced themes of grief and growth. And I love her Grandmother soooo much!
