What I liked
I don’t think I’ve ever given the note that I think a play could be longer, but this play could be three hours. I knew nothing about this story going in and I was totally enraptured.
What I didn't like
I was most excited when the world broke and we learned that the story wasn’t really the story we watched, but the story Stan likes to tell! I would LOVE more cracks in the facade throughout the play. Also, absolutely take this or leave it, but I wanted to see Joe and Steve become Daredevil/Spiderman, respectively. A moment of bold magical theatricality.
My overall impression
A fantastic play!! Really tight with STELLAR performances, and writing so natural I found myself totally swept into the story.
