Each of the characters were quickly defined and their verbal interplay was expository while simultaneously seeming natural, fluid, and engaging. I particularly enjoyed the actors portraying Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, and Jack Kirby’s spouse. Good use of lighting.
What I didn't like
A couple of times it was difficult to hear what an actor was saying – a not unusual problem in a theater not relying on audio amplification.
My overall impression
Thoroughly enjoyed the play – tightly written, fast-paced, well-acted…deserves to relocate to the Geffen Playhouse or some other venue where it can be enjoyed by an even larger audience.
