About the Project
Here’s what we know for sure: Jack Kirby, a talented comic artist in search of financial stability, and Stan Lee, an eager young writer with godlike ambitions, worked together to create a world-renowned stable of superheroes: Spider-Man, Captain America, The Fantastic Four, and The X-Men. Beyond that, things get a little hazy… In a break-neck ninety minutes, these two icons share their competing accounts of how they created our modern mythology, highlighting conflicting ideas about creative collaboration, legacy, and what it means to succeed in America.
