You can tell Alice is at home on the stage, and her comedy skills are sharp, even when talking about tough subjects.
What I didn't like
I wanted to give her a hug throughout the show. Women are amazing, and so many of us deal with fertility issues and yet we don’t talk about it. I really commend Alice for telling her story. And although it was a joke, I totally agree with her that “if you can’t turn suffering into good material, what’s the point??” (Paraphrasing her lol)
My overall impression
As an audience we bear witness to Alice Cutler’s tumultuous fertility journey. It’s impossible not to cheer her on — this show is very vulnerable and raw, yet it somehow also manages to be funny which is perhaps the biggest triumph!
