What I liked
It may sound very reductive, but I found it incredibly educational. As someone who has never gone through this or been super close to anyone who has, I had no idea what you have to go through to try and make this happen. It was a real eye-opener. It makes me feel even more for all the women who are going through, or have been on this journey.
What I didn't like
I thought it was well done across the board. You can tell it’s been workshopped so well to make all of the transitions seamless. Great job!
My overall impression
This one-woman show was hilarious and heart-wrenching. Alice takes you along on the rollercoaster ride of her journey to conceive a child. I love how she weaves in her stand-up routines to illustrate that humor is the ultimate healing salve – even for the most painful things that happen in life. I strongly recommend you hop on this ride. And don’t forget the tissues – for tears of sorrow and of laughter.
