The pointer was hilarious. Alice’s vulnerability was compelling and relatable, and she made great use of the stage with the mic, the boxes, and projections. This is great show to take on the road and show everyone, I hope!
What I didn't like
No notes for Alice. Tech was jumpy.
My overall impression
This was so strong, and so funny, and so heartbreaking. I was a weepy mess after it but out of so much love and catharsis for Alice, her journey, and the journey of MANY women that hurt too much to talk about dead babies. Alice was brilliant, poignant, and completely honest about such a hard hand dealt to her. This piece will stick with me forever.
