The writing was gorgeous, and the set design and lighting provided a perfectly subtle yet stylized canvas, letting the performances and staging fully inhabit the world.

My overall impression
Nicole Knudsen’s script is a masterclass in world-building, transporting us into the unfamiliar while anchoring us in something deeply, universally human. The writing sings with specificity and natural dialogue, brought to life by two commanding lead performances. A truly magical hour of theater!
