The set was inventively simple and yet captivating and effective. The acting and direction were stellar.
What I didn't like
The two characters were so beautifully healthy and mature and the tension mostly arose from the messiness of their former selves. Just a little bit, I wanted to see some of that human messiness still present in them. But I acknowledge this may be personal preference. Ultimately the script accomplishes exactly what it aims to do.
My overall impression
Cathartic, funny, and full of heart. This is an expertly crafted piece of theatre that showcases sci-fi at its best: overwhelmingly human.
