What I liked

The dialogue was natural and realistic. The 2 actors had really fantastic timing and physicality. There were a few scenes where the actors had to have conversations with their respective spouses and be in tandem with each other, and I really enjoyed how they timed that.

These two had great chemistry. I could tell there was something between them before the reveal because these actors motivated everything with that tension and care and spite.

The story within is so beautifully simple and relatable, but the backdrop of this expansive sci-fi future just feels so cool. It’s hard to accomplish that aesthetic in theater, but it really works to create this look into the future of humanity with space travel and fantastical technology that is still made by humans who are perfectly imperfect.

What I didn't like

No notes, just really really loved it. Would love to see more from everyone involved.

My overall impression

A mesmerizing and tender snapshot of two people who simply care for one another, despite everything else they feel. It is carried equally by its masterful script and emotional performances, and made even more alive with effective set pieces and sound design. Every category was a complete success.
