Lacey Buchanan, who plays Nessa, brings such emotional depth and nuance, while still filling the space is a sight to behold. She really keeps the entire show together. The writing is really sharp and cutting, highlighting the complicated relationships we carry with us to our graves, and the conflict that can arise with conflicting versions of the same person being shared amongst those people. How the space is used is tremendous, the tech elements really support the story. And all the performances are great, but Lacey is an absolute powerhouse. Well worth your time, if you can get a ticket. They’re going fast!
What I didn't like
Nothing of note. It’s great!
My overall impression
Such an incredible show. To see another show deal with grief, memory, and the stories we choose to tell about the people we love (and ourselves in relation to them) is such a delight, and it’s handled with care and precision.
