Everything. Full stop. I was immersed from beginning to end and actually felt scared in some parts. I think this is such a fun look at the questions we all have: “What happens after we die?” “How do ghosts feel about their deaths?” I think it also shines a light on the fact that our closest loved ones can never truly know the true “us.” In fact, do we even know who the true “us” is?
Not to spoil anything, but there’s a really fun narrative device K.E uses, let’s just call him “the man.” Truly so creative, actually scary, and yet she pays it off in the end in such a beautiful way.
What I didn't like
Nothing. I really hope this gets a run somewhere else!
My overall impression
The best writing I’ve seen all Fringe. K.E is a force to be reckoned with on the page. No pun intended, I am truly haunted by how good this show was. The acting, the direction, the lighting. This is a show that will stick with me long after Fringe is over.
