The writing is really good. A large cast of characters that are well fleshed out, each with interesting perspectives. The ghost, Lacey Buchanan, delivers an incredible performance. The story is well written, with twists and turns that you won’t see coming. The horror elements of this show are so eerie, I loved those sequences!
What I didn't like
The flashing light sequences (specifically the big one) are a bit much in regards to sensory overload. I had to close my eyes during the big one. Maybe if it were just for a short moment I would have been fine, but the long drawn out flashing sequence was quite uncomfortable.
My overall impression
Ghosttown is a well written, well designed, and well performed drama. At times funny, at times terrifying, writer director Kellie Pleshinger has created a great show.
