What I liked

The music, chemistry between the actors, and humor.

What I didn't like

The addition of a few sound effects or non-diegetic music could have been used to punctuate certain moments (like flashes of pain or death).

My overall impression

What a lovely and fresh show! The House Always Wins contains a delightfully twisted sense of humor, mesmerizing music, brilliant acting, and snappy writing that arrests the audience’s attention. And underneath all the haunting and verbal fencing between the ghostly lead (Meredith) and her unsuspecting victims is a deeper exploration of regret, love, and second chances. This show is a must see!
