The show was a lovely surprise. I did not know what to expect going in, but I know the director as very creative and honest person, so I knew the audience would be in good hands. It was very funny, well paced and the only thing that outweighed it's anxiety was it's heart. I highly recommend....

Stunning, brilliant, witty, and just what I needed to hear in the grim, AI-loving time we are living in. No character or actor lacked or disappointed, no moment yearned for more, not a single time was I found not smiling and engaged. The best acting and writing combo in a Fringe show that I’ve seen so far this year....

What a show! It was polished, with cutting, loaded and original writing, and anchored by fantastic performances across the entire small cast, with two leads (Jake and Michael) really holding it down. I also learned how to pronounce Gal Gadot’s name and that’s a plus. I hate the state of the industry and I hate the seeping of AI into every aspect of creativity and life. That said, it’s tempting and easy to score lazy points and end up just as rehashed as some Gen AI junk, and I was moved that the show built a moving and soulful core. Good human stuff. Bravo!...

WAITING for GAL GADOT written by and starring Jake Thomas and Michael Sinterniklaas, directed by Stephanie Sheh. While AI weaves its way through our personal and professional lives, this Hollywood Fringe play pits creative humans against their anticeptic rivals. The speed of AI can’t be surpassed, but the precision with which “Waiting for (Gal) Gadot” has written, rehearsed, prepped and shuttled their audiences in to watch their hilarious performances, take their bows and get the audience out in time for the next play to set up and go is to marvel at passion, community, efficiency and open expression. Congratulations all! There are still performances. Please support independent expression and talent!...

The show was absolutely fantastic. The writing, directing and performances were truly amazing. But above all that— they took such a unique, unexpected take on a classic and made it unbelievably relevant to today’s journey of working as an artist in Hollywood. Tons of laughs, and a real human touch “wink”...
