What I liked
I loved that this show at its heart really isn’t about dick pics. The dick pics are a very fun piece, for sure, but the real show is Cara’s painting of the entire picture that leads to the dick picks. It is masterful, vulnerable, and impactful. This show widened my perspective of dating and what we’re actually looking for when we search for a partner is ways I’m deeply grateful for.

My overall impression
This show is phenomenal! Cara has a command of her story that instantly makes you feel at ease as you go on a difficult & emotional journey with her. She punctuates her painful memories with pictures of all the weird penises she’s received from random men on the internet, which feels cathartic to laugh at. This show prompted a very interesting conversation with my husband about why men send unsolicited dick pics, and I’m sure this show will spur many more important conversations. A fringe must see!
