Katrina! and the unique take on a magic show. The fact that it had a plot line. I didn’t know how a spy and a magician could be related but now it all makes sense and it was a lot of fun and totally entertaining. Probaby the best thing I’ve seen at the Fringe. No, definitely the best thing I’ve seen. We are still talking about it this morning.
What I didn't like
The budget! I hope something evolves out of this production. It’s a great concept that I could see on a bigger scale. I hope that happens!
My overall impression
A clever take on magic and a fantastic Fringe offering. Is she a spy or not? Katrina’s charm draws people into the act becoming part of the story. Complete with jaw dropping illusions that will have you leaving the theater wondering, “how did she do that?” Spy or not, she’s got the charisma to put the audience at ease for a nice, entertaining night out. I hope Katrina continues the evolution of this production. I will always say, “I saw it at the Hollywood Fringe first.” :)
