Lars Toler provided a WONDERFUL portrayal of Lewis. I really felt the internal world of this conflicted kid who is just trying to find their place and be loved. They made me believe every word Lewis spoke/sang, and it was beautiful to witness.
Another shout-out to Danny Gendron as the Bowler Hat Guy, who perfectly channeled every sniveling, snide, side-winding cartoon villain I ever grew up with. So funny.
I also LOVED the choice to cast a dance as The Bowler Hat. Watching Angelikah Chun slink and pivot and tiptoe across the stage added a truly theatrical layer that just kept making me think of “The Bullet” in Hamilton.

My overall impression
I got to see Annika Hogarth’s entry effort last year for Kittens and I remember thinking to myself, “This is one artist to watch.” So it was no surprise to me that the “Meet the Robinsons Parody” was so wonderfully executed and had me smiling from ear to ear. The music for this show was SO GOOD! I honestly had to remind myself that they weren’t a part of the original movie. And the cast… stellar! Every person was memorable, exciting, and offered the right tenor and presence to their respective roles. I left this mainstage show feeling lifted in spirit and humming a few of these little ditties all the way home. Well done to Annika and the entire team.
