What I liked

The cast commits to the whacky antics of this story and the “Moving Forward” theme is catchy. Danny Gendron’s Bowler Hat Guy steals the show and Mizuki Sako’s beautiful movement brings life and personality into a floating hat. Karen Zipor delivers great comedic timing and Annika Hoseth shows off her precision in movement and singing.

What I didn't like

The transitions and props became a bit clunky at times. The start of the show had the piano far too loud to hear the singing, but the adjustment mid-show helped a ton.

My overall impression

A cute and energetic adaptation of a beloved, and sometimes forgotten, 2007 animated adventure. This would crush in high school productions.
