Hilarious, biting and poignant, this is the show I would force people to watch when they say there’s no real theater in Los Angeles. The cast is exceptional and each character fully realized in this update of a beloved comic strip that includes a healthy dose of life lessons and good grief. The play painfully examines the paths our innocent childhood characters rushed down in the time we’ve been apart. The skillful and subtle direction also forces the audience to insert their own lives and friendships into the retrospective crucible of good intentions and emotionally catastrophic relationships.
Fun and thought-provoking, this is the best of the Fringe!
