One of the most compelling and intellectually engaging productions I've seen in quite some time. What could have been a simple story a thoughtful examination of loyalty, accountability, and truth inside institutions where good people are often faced with difficult choices. ... full review

Really enjoyed this show - very thoughtful portrayal of four vastly different personalities and ways of dealing with a moral dilemma. It was a skillful use of a small space and minimal set dressing too - and the playbill you put in our hands had me spellbound before we even entered the theater. ... full review

This was my first Fringe show, and I dont think I could have made a better choice. I wanted to be captivated, educated, and entertained, and got exactly that. The performances felt very organic and the acting was superb, I felt the emotions of the characters and weight of the material due to this, and was such a treat. If you enjoy great acting, a fascinating story, and a production that brings it all together this is your show, would love to see this show again!... full review

Black Bag Job is a compelling and emotionally resonant production that successfully blends historical drama with psychological tension. The intimate setting draws the audience into a pivotal moment in history, making the ethical dilemmas feel immediate and deeply personal. It's a thoughtful play that lingers in your mind long after the final scene, prompting reflection on responsibility, courage, and the impact of individual choices.... full review

This play was wonderful in its ability to get you to experience what it must be like to secretly record a public figure. The tone and dynamics between characters came alive in this piece. It made me immediately want to learn more about Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination! Get there early to read the very creative program.... full review

The moody, mysterious nature of the topic and production made for a quietly anxiety producing ambience, because we all know the outcome of this story. But to watch these characters, each with their own level of awareness, go through the emotions and misgivings and convictions of this covert event was the journey of this story. ... full review

Just a terrific piece! An involving, engrossing and very surprising script brought to life by a masterful cast. A murder with historic consequence, literally changing the course of our nation, framed by the question of how are we all, on some level, complicit. One of the best fringe shows I've seen.... full review

Great show! A verite-style production where the silence is the point and moment-to-moment work is incredibly crafted and personal. Levatino's always-wonderful use of practical lighting adds just the right amount of noir while the attention to era-specific props really helped to solidify the mood. ... full review
