What I liked
Tone. Acting. Design. All top notch.
The flashing of date and time was effective.
What I didn't like
Sense of where everything is happening was lost on me at times – but that could have been me.
Hearing all the dialog. I didn’t quite pick it up at times. Especially on the playback.
My overall impression
Acting – Taut. Patient. Haunting. Setting and atmosphere – Thick. Heavy. Wet. As the date and time kept crawling towards the inevitable assassination of MLK, we are living with the men charged with a mission yet confronted with their humanity. Questions of what would you do pop up? What fear can do to men who are in power and want to keep it. How a great country trying to find its way can get lost in their pursuit of a liberating idea. Representative Democracy. Nothing is perfect. This idea is as close as it gets🇺🇸
