Kendall Brezinski’s fearless candor and the strength of his voice
What I didn't like
“Production” doesn’t really connect with the material. The show is a guy in a camp chair objectively telling you his secret story. Three wigs and a skull don’t contribute anything significant. (Would like to have seen pix of the dogs he discusses!)
My overall impression
Cute blonde guy fronting an ad for Gay Sexual Reminiscences? O-K! Started off with frank, ribald stories of Growing Up Gay which elicited a lotta yocks from WeHo male audience. Midway it took an unadvertised side-step into The Dark Side, stifling the laughs and earning Kendall Brezinski an unexpected standing ovation!
Not as “in-depth” as it thinks it is, but a really revealing piece of Self-Analysis!
Only 4 more shows X 26 seats, so may be a tough ticket!
