I don’t know how she did it, but somehow Katherine was able to pitch the plot of the show, inhabit like six characters, keep us oriented to the core relationship progression, AND lead a sing-along, simultaneously. I was never confused, and certainly never bored. She has a rare artistic stamina that was so fun to watch!
What I didn't like
Honestly I’m just mad the show doesn’t actually exist.
My overall impression
I didn’t know what to expect coming into this show, but I was absolutely blown away by Katherine’s ability to paint such a vivid emotional scene with nothing more than a microphone, a projector, and some well-timed needle drops. Where a network pitch meets a slumber party, I was on board from jump, and holding on until the very end. Cannot recommend Bellingham Bay enough, one of the few hour-plus Fringe shows that goes by in the blink of an eye.
