I loved the comedy, the pacing, the story, and the characters. All of them were so unique and recognizable just from their tone, everything was so personally created, you can genuinely feel the passion that was woven into everything. I loved the costumes, the interactions with the audience, everything was simply spectacular.
What I didn't like
I personally think there was really nothing that necessarily needs to be improved. I really loved Jackie, Baby! for everything that it is and says. I need more.
My overall impression
A beautiful ensemble of love, heartbreak, and womanhood. Jackie, Baby! is a passionately crafted interactive performance that dives into the pain of show business, especially for women, and the grueling standards that are often set upon female performers’ shoulders. Beyond that, Jackie takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster that shows us how to handle rejection and unfair standards, and reveals the fact that you can still thrive and truly live even after seemingly impossible roadblocks are thrown your way. The characters are so incredibly distinct and memorable despite all being played by Cylie, and if anything, that made it even more unique and enjoyable. This performance was wonderful to experience, there were laughs, tears, and beautiful human-ness woven into the story. I highly reccomend Jackie, Baby!
