What I liked
Acting is tops! Writing tops! Costumes are tops! Love the makeup and lack thereof! This is some of the smartest solo theatre I’ve ever seen.
What I didn't like
Transitions were sometime slow – and I think there’s got to be a more efficient way to bow as three different characters without making the audience wait for each change.
My overall impression
Some of the best solo storytelling!!! Jackie, Baby is funny, poignant, moving, participatory, and blends a vintage facade with the story of an artist’s final curtain. Cylie is spectacular – a great character creator and writer!
