Beyond that, Jackie takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster that shows us how to handle rejection and unfair standards, and reveals the fact that you can still thrive and truly live even after seemingly impossible roadblocks are thrown your way. This show is a delight! Cylie is sensational in a multitude of ways and the staging is a unique and fresh way to pull off the challenge of a multi-character storyline. You will love just how amazing and heart-felt her performance is, and how well the team supported the quick change concept that allowed her to perform fully costumed as each character.... full review

Inventive, engaging, thought provoking without being over the top. Cylie is a talented and expressive performer, the show she wrote is creative and her performance was magnetic. It's melancholy, hopeful and brave. The character of Jackie stirred a lot of emotions in me. I genuinely cared about her, worried about her, was pulled in by her. This show was not formulaic at all. I truly didn't know where it was going to go. And after it was over I wanted to know more about Jackie. I'd see a follow up show to see where she goes in life. ... full review

Jackie, Baby is so good! Cylie Janiece is a terrific actress. She wasn't afraid to feel all the feelings during her 75 minutes. The show must have been physically demanding based on the variety of characters and costume changes, but, somehow Janiece managed to stay grounded in her body and perform each character with such honesty and joy. I thought Cylie Janiece was charming, fun and sincere in her performance. All of her characters were clear, different and well-acted. This piece was like a lover letter to theater, live performing and also embracing the natural highs and lows we all face as we change and our industry changes.
