The design of the entire show felt so cohesive and beautiful. The set was stunning, Lissa’s costume was beautiful, and the props were all surreal. I also loved the concept of it being a QVC show and the audience deciding if they wanted to return or keep the items, making us complicit in Zoloft’s capitalist cycles.
What I didn't like
I would have loved more exploration of Lissa’s personal journey of loneliness and isolation more woven in throughout the show, the moment at the end was very compelling!
My overall impression
Lissa takes a look at overconsumption through a pastel pink lens and explores how capitalism has changed how we look at people and how we (over)buy.
