Give all the flowers to Alana Regrets, I could watch her work a crowd for hours!! This has strong bones for being expanded upon and turned into either a full-length play or a TV pilot. The interactive element kept it fun and engaging!
What I didn't like
When the show transitioned to the second half, there were many moments where the actors were facing upstage when delivering their lines, and it became difficult to hear. It was a large venue and they were without mics, so I understand it can be a struggle, but I was front row and struggling to hear some of the softer lines.
My overall impression
What started out as a funny and fluffy drag show quickly became tender, and it developed quite a bit of heart in such a short amount of time! Aaron’s nervousness was palpable and almost uncomfortable to watch (positively; it was almost too realistic)!
