Dragged is a fun show that marries drag with theatre. Godoy opens the show with an AMAZING show stopping performance to welcome us as her audience to her talk show, before she pulls one of us up to be put on blast. Alec ends up getting exposed, and Godoy takes us on a journey of cheating, queer dating, LA nightlife, and supporting your fellow person. ...

As with anything creative, I admire the show's effort to put a production on stage, and I'll always give props to artists who put themselves out there. That said, the show fell flat for me and didn't quite meet my expectations. Dragged is a sharp, funny, and surprisingly tender piece that uses the energy of a drag show to dig into very real questions about relationships, identity, and how cruel “entertainment” can get when people’s private lives are put on display. It feels current without being preachy, taking a very “today” premise—publicly exposing someone’s personal life onstage—and pushing it into something both entertaining and uncomfortable. I left feeling like I’d seen something fresh: a show that starts as camp and spectacle and then quietly shifts into a more vulnerable, human story about honesty and kindness....
