My overall impression
What a hoot! B movie turned high camp by an excellent ensemble and masterful director/writer. There are too many laugh out loud moments to relate here, but I highly recommend this dark and delightful traumatic comedy told to the soundtrack of the 70’s.
If you’d like to see what would happen if Fiip Wilson, John Waters, and Rod Serling staged a melodrama farce in 1975, this is it. A twisted tale told in a twisted way by a twisted ensemble. And they love every minute of it. So will you.
Fantastic. I’m still laughing at many of the delicious moments in it a week later! Go just for the music and sound design alone, the rest is gravy, baby!
