My overall impression
Bravo! Dan Spurgeon’s swift and silly script manages to be faithful enough to the original melodrama shocker and yet successfully spoof it as well.
Lead Jana Wimer is appropriately kind and kooky, Cloie Wyatt Taylor and Natasha Charles Parker are wacky and wanton as trailer-trashy sisters, Torrey Halverson is adorable and hilarious as the Baby…and Frank Blocker as Mama is a mammoth “Mommie Dearest” monster.
