What I liked
Loved the staging and the props, especially the bike. The use of lighting was especially notable, as well. Great to see this clown truly interact with the audience.
What I didn't like
In terms of pacing, I think there are moments when the audience is so engaged with the character that Doofuxs could let the reaction he’s getting from them really LAND for another beat – explore the vulnerability a tiny bit more. The audience is totally with you for the ride!
My overall impression
Cole is such a committed player. Such a finely-wrought character with great attention to detail. An anti-hero presented with earnestness and without judgment lets the satire marinate with the audience long after the surprising ending. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
