Like a real mom, I felt safe with Olson from the jump. Her commitment to the character and understanding of narrative structure made it easy for me to fully embrace Space Company. I enjoyed so much about this show: the setting, the flashbacks and resulting costume changes (I love the hat at the end!), the small details like her ever-present Stanley Cup and the audience interaction bits were unique and perfect in their amount. And that wig is everything.
What I didn't like
The one thing I bumped on was the song. While it was goregous, I found the lyrics too on the nose. Would benefit from more abstraction in its lyricism.
My overall impression
A smart and witty satire of corporate America and the myopic greed that drives it. Olson is a multi-hypenate, natural talent!
