My overall impression
Space Company was a hilarious yet poignant poke fun at corporate culture and its effect on humanity.
I don’t want to spoil too much.
I found myself hearing so many things the company I work for has told me and it affirmed that Emma hit the jackpot with her comedic writing around the topic of work.
Emma’s delivery and comedic timing was superb! She really brought the room into her world and I loved seeing how engaged the audience was.
I felt like the show reminded me that we are more than our job titles and to not be afraid to make art.
There’s a scene at the end (I won’t spoil it) where let’s just say we see a new version of Emma that you haven’t seen yet, appearing and you can honestly say the music was coming from her soul.
