I enjoyed her use of projections and the music that highlighted the piece. I really liked the visual story Emma was telling on top of her performance.
What I didn't like
Nothing to do with Emma or the show, but I felt that the tech at the theater really let the show down. Tons of missed cues, wild sound levels, and the stage wasn’t properly lit. I’m disappointed in the Activist Kitchen as a venue.
My overall impression
I enjoyed this weird, comedic, and pointed exploration of the corporate systems that continue to stratify our society. Emma is always a clever performer, and I felt like the point of this piece was clear. I really enoyed her commitment to the bit, from costume to hair, she was giving MOM.
