Space Company was a hilarious yet poignant poke fun at corporate culture and its effect on humanity.
I don’t want to spoil too much.
I found myself hearing so many things the company I work for has told me and it affirmed that Emma hit the jackpot with her comedic writing around the topic of work.
Emma’s delivery and comedic timing was superb! She really brought the room into her world and I loved seeing how engaged the audience was.
I felt like the show reminded me that we are more than our job titles and to not be afraid to make art.
There’s a scene at the end (I won’t spoil it) where let’s just say we see a new version of Emma that you haven’t seen yet, appearing and you can honestly say the music was coming from her soul....

SPACE COMPANY is a hilarious and surprisingly tense ride!! The performance is genuinely impeccable, and it's such a quirky, fun world that will just have you wanting more!! You will literally never guess where this one goes, and that's half the fun....

As a corporate boy, this was a little too real, but in the best way. A lot of this show's point applies to my life, and Emma we're the same age so I really feel ya. I really enjoyed the story, and the larger universe/lore that Emma has crafted- it was believable and so engaging from start to finish. The underlying message is powerful and more applicable to millennial existentialism with each passing day.
I hear you, Emma. Will I ever be anything more than a Cool Aunt at my own space company?...

A space corporate world parody! I loved this world Emma built, mapping absurdity to everything we know and dislike about corporate America....

Space Company blasts off, but how it lands makes it really special. A beautiful journey, full of laughs, oh-so-real satire, original music, and family. I loved it. Emma Irene Olson should be on everyone’s radar....

I enjoyed this weird, comedic, and pointed exploration of the corporate systems that continue to stratify our society. Emma is always a clever performer, and I felt like the point of this piece was clear. I really enoyed her commitment to the bit, from costume to hair, she was giving MOM....
