One of my favorites of this year’s Hollywood Fringe.
The dynamics of five creatures in a pack get tested in various ways over the course of an hour. Coalitions form and reform as these natural born predators challenge each other over fundamental questions of life and society. (Of course, part of the success of the play is that we’re not just talking about wolves here…)
Besides the clever and natural dialogue, there is a killer monologue delivered with intense focus by Tanya Alexander.
Thanks to the Fringe, I’ve now seen playwright Aaron Francis’ trilogy of animal plays and have loved them all!
What I didn't like
It worked for me!
My overall impression
Great exploration of a collective existential crisis!
