The strongest part was the simplicity: a clear meeting place, a relaxed pace, and space for organic conversation. It did not feel over-programmed, which made it easier to talk, listen, and meet people from different creative backgrounds. The outdoor setting also made the event feel more accessible than a louder bar-style networking event.
What I didn't like
More visible day-of signage or a pinned map marker would make it easier for first-time attendees to find the group quickly inside Plummer Park. A short optional opening circle or name-tag prompt could also help new people join conversations without making the meet-up feel too structured.
My overall impression
HFF26 Community Days: Plummer Park Meet-Up was a calm, welcoming way to connect with other Fringe people without the pressure of a formal networking event. The relaxed park setting made conversations feel natural, and the family-friendly, sober format gave the whole gathering a grounded community feel.
