A fantastic performance. Lisa is dynamic! She adeptly moves from pain to humor to reflection in her piece, and this auto-biographical one-woman show admirably never feels indulgent. She remains engaging throughout, charming, witty, likable while managing to avoid appearing desperate or overeager.
There are no shortage of anecdotes and tragedy in her life (lucky for us, sucks for her!) The structure of the show could have been strengthened a bit to provide a more cohesive narrative, but that doesn’t stop the show from being a funny, moving delight.
