What I liked
Gretchen played a whole cast of characters, making each one stand out from the last effortlessly. Each one had their own voice, persona, and identity. My favorite parts of the show were watching Gretchen interact with these characters she’s met along the ride.
What I didn't like
Sometimes things happened really fast that I needed more of a second to sit with and take in. But it’s the Fringe and with the limited time she had, Gretchen took us on a WYLD ride. So no real complaints.
My overall impression
A fascinating tale of trauma at the hands of an extremist cult told through the lens of tarot cards, character comedy, religious stories, and loop pedal vocals. Very fun tech design and direction, with Gretchen strongly commanding the helm of the story.
