Loved the section where Wylder goes into the historical significance of the place, it’s connection to the Salem witch trials and touches on goddess archetypes to highlight the depth of her conundrum. It really rounds out the piece and makes it not only entertaining but educational. Appreciated!
What I didn't like
I only wish it could be longer;) I want more and I would have loved to see you be able to take your time a bit more but as it were I was able to absorb it and was enraptured every moment!
My overall impression
The place is Salem, Massachusetts and there are witches being burned in their houses, but the year isn’t 1692 . . .it’s 2025 and this shit is still happening. I was enraptured by this show. Gretchyn takes us through her real-life journey of facing harrowing treatment by a cult-like Christian community and the result is fascinating! Wylder is a powerful performer, expert storyteller and has a beautiful cackle that will relieve anyone’s doubts that she’s truly witchy! A must see of the fest.
